Google Goggles
Google Goggles,the latest offering from Google is simply amazing. It's long been a source of frustration that good images are difficult to find on the web. It' mostly dependant on webmasters putting accurate relevant descriptions of the images in the <alt> or <title> tags. However all that is about to change since one of the many benefits of Google Goggle is that thousands, perhaps millions, of photos will be scanned and indexed by users using their Android phones to identify landmarks, books, artwork, places, even logos.
Check out the video below, download the app from the Android Market, then let you imagination run wild with the possibilities. Take pictures of landmarks and monuments to identify them. Scan barcodes and logos for product information and prices. Photograph a store to get their contact details including the website.
