Google Wave Update - Web Wave Update

Wave Announcement

Here is the famous wave video from the Google Wave Developer Preview presentation at the Day 2 Keynote of Google I/O. It is 80 minutes long, but well worth watching. I think you'll be impressed and excited, as all the Google delegates obviously were.

This type of project does not come up very often, although much more often since Google came along, it's a testament to Google's innovative approach to so many things that these things are possible.

If this video has whetted your appetite and you can't wait to get hold of an invite, when you've finished watching the wave video, click here to enter the Web Wave Update competition. There are only a few wave invites available at the moment so get them while they're hot!

Unfortunately it's a little like having the first telephone, there's no one to call. The upside is that when you get your wave invite and register, you'll get some invites, currently eight, to send to your friends or colleagues to get you off to a good start, 'waving' to everyone.

By the way you'll need a Gmail account in order to accept the invitation, so you might like to register for a Gmail account now in preparation.

Happy waving!
